American Conservation Experience's ACE Conservation Crew program is designed to offer hands-on, experiential learning opportunities unlike any other. You'll join a dynamic team of dedicated individuals who are passionate about conservation and laying the foundation for their professional careers.

As part of our crew-based model, you will work alongside a group of like-minded colleagues committed to making a difference through environmental stewardship. This program is open to individuals aged 18-30 with an exted age limit up to 35 for veterans.

What is the Conservation Corps?

Local organizations, such as American Conservation Experience ACE, engage young people and veterans in public service projects med at addressing needs related to recreation, land conservation, wildlife protection, disaster relief, community development, and cultural heritage.

Participants, often called Corpsmembers, gn hands-on experience that enhances their resumes with marketable skills over the course of their duty term, which typically ranges from a few months up to a year.

Upon successful completion, corps volunteers are often eligible for academic scholarships or grants in addition to their compensation. Many corps provide mentorship, educational programs, and access to personal and professional counseling services.

AGE REQUIREMENT: Most ACE's Conservation Corps require members aged 18-30 with an exception allowing veterans up to age 35.

The AmeriCorps Segal Education Award is designed to support post-term education costs such as tuition, student loans, or certification courses offered by NOLS National Outdoor Leadership School.
