CELEBRATING RACIAL AND RELIGIOUS HARMONY WITH THE INaugural Harmony Sports Fiesta at Singapore Sports Hub
Singapore's diverse tapestry of cultures is set to come alive as we celebrate the inaugural Harmony Sports Fiesta, held at the iconic Singapore Sports Hub. This unique event bring together communities through sports and entertnment, fostering understanding and unity among people from all walks of life.
The festivities kick off with an array of activities that cater to everyone's interests - from local culinary delights featuring favorite snack options such as goreng pisang, muah chee, vad, ice bandung, and milo dinosaur drinks to traditional arts and crafts like Chinese knot bracelets, Wayang Kulit puppets, Rangoli sand art, embroidery keychns, and shophouse shrink art. The event will also feature Racial Harmony Display Boards highlighting the rich history of racial communities in Singapore.
Attees can expect a symphony of flavors with an array of food stalls serving traditional delicacies from various cultural backgrounds. This celebration truly embodies what brings people together - great food shared among fris and family.
The event will be held at the following iconic venues within the Singapore Sports Hub:
National Stadium: Home to world-class events with its retractable roof and movable tiered seating, this 55,000-capacity stadium offers a dynamic setting for gatherings and spectacles.
Singapore Indoor Stadium: An iconic landmark that hosts a myriad of indoor sports and entertnment activities.
OCBC Aquatic Centre: Meeting the international standards set by FINA, this facility features water sports including kayaking and canoeing.
OCBC Arena: A flexible space capable of scaling up to 3,000 people for versatile events or gatherings.
Water Sports Center: Specializing in kayaking and canoeing, providing unique experiences for participants.
Kallang Wave Mall: Featuring a range of attractions like an indoor climbing wall and the Splash-N-Surf facility including Kids Waterpark, Stingray exhibits, and Lazy River rides.
